  I was very disappointed to arrive for an appt for a knee problem. Due to my clothing I told the nurse I would need to take off my leggings so he could examine my knee. She told me it makes him very uncomfortable when people are unclothed. I am 58, with a bulging bakers cyst behind my knee and a tendon problem on my left ankle. I have RA, so what would they expect? Really? She seemed reluctant to let me take my leggings off, but gave me a pillowcase to cover me with. Which I have to tear up so that it would cover my lower body from my thighs down. He came in, never physically checked my knee. Sent me for an u,trasound based upon me telling him my history. How can I trust a doctor who is too shy to examine me? She also mentioned he has been asked by patients for Pap smears. The nurse also told me he won't do that! I respect his decision on that I guess, but very awkward as a patient to hear these things. I will not return to this clinic. I felt I was put in a very uncomfortable place. If he is uncomfortable with women being unclothed, why not bring in the nurse so there is no issue with prudence? I just found the entire experience unprofessional and he is not the appropriate physician for me. Very disappointed in the care I DIDN'T receive. Oh, and I paid for all of this. :)
